Maryland panel extends deadlines related July’s primary

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland State Board of Elections has prolonged three deadlines associated to final month’s main, as a result of it was delayed by three weeks.

As a result of the first was postponed, the board is scheduled to certify outcomes Aug. 15.

The board voted Monday to increase the deadline for a candidate to say no a nomination till Aug. 16, as a result of that may’t occur till after certification.
