Maryland man wins his second lottery jackpot in seven years

Oct. 13 (UPI) — A Maryland man received a $100,000 jackpot from a scratch-off lottery ticket seven years after he collected a $77,777 prime prize from one other ticket.

The 45-year-old Arnold man instructed Maryland Lottery officers he purchased his $100,000 Crossword sixth Version scratch-off ticket for $10 from Chesapeake Market Citgo in Annapolis and used the shop’s scanner to disclose it was a $100,000 winner.

“I used to be excited and blissful, however I wasn’t getting too excited since I used to be on the gasoline station,” the person mentioned.

The participant beforehand received a $77,777 prime prize from a Fortunate 7 scratch-off ticket in 2015.

“I actually do not play that a lot. I suppose I’m fortunate,” he mentioned.

The winner mentioned his earlier jackpot went towards school funds for his kids, and he’s now planning to share his newest winnings together with his grownup kids.

“I wish to spend time with household and like to assist out relations,” the person mentioned.
