Maryland man facing DUI charges after allegedly causing crash in Beaver County

BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — A Maryland man faces a collection of expenses, together with DUI, after allegedly shedding management and crashing his SUV right into a fence, a parked automobile, a house, and a storage Wednesday evening in New Brighton, Beaver County.

“It’s just a little upsetting. [It’s caused] a number of complications,” stated Bryan Waddingham, whose Dodge SUV took the brunt of the injury brought on by the alleged drunk driver.

The incident unfolded Wednesday round 9:00 p.m. alongside Grove Avenue in New Brighton.

“I got here exterior and I used to be wanting round and my automobile was pushed like three ft into the yard on the opposite facet and there’s one other automobile again between my storage and the neighbor’s home,” defined Waddingham.

That different automobile, in accordance with the police report, was a gray Jeep Cherokee.

Investigators say James Pulley, 41, of Maryland was behind the wheel and a girl was within the automobile with him.

“They have been each visibly intoxicated,” stated Waddingham.

Police paperwork states that Pulley was drunk, didn’t have a legitimate driver’s license, and tried to go away the scene earlier than officers arrived.

The girl with him needed to go to the hospital with a head damage.

“Once I got here out, they have been really nonetheless caught within the automobile as a result of their doorways have been wedged between the nook of the home and storage, in order that they couldn’t get their doorways open,” stated Waddingham.

In accordance with arresting paperwork, Pulley resisted arrest and allegedly kicked and spit on an officer.

He was denied bail and is being held on the Beaver County Jail.

Pulley is due again in courtroom on Feb. 3.
