BALTIMORE – Maryland is seeing an alarming enhance in hate crimes in opposition to the Jewish neighborhood, in keeping with the Anti-defamation League, which tracks anti-semitic incidents every year.

The Anti-defamation League, which put out its 2022 report Thursday, says Maryland has seen a 98 % enhance in anti-semitic incidents from 2021 to 2022.

Maryland now has the tenth highest quantity of reported incidents within the nation, the report states.

There have been 3,697 studies of hate crimes in opposition to Jewish individuals throughout the US in 2022, in keeping with ADL.

ADL members mentioned that is the best variety of incidents they’ve recorded since they began monitoring information.

WJZ then reached out to Libit after the ADL report was launched.
