Maryland grant program aims to help construction companies hire, retain workers

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Division of Labor is launching a program to assist financially assist building corporations with hiring and retaining employees.

It is known as the Jobs That Construct Employer Fund.

To qualify, the corporate should be primarily based in Maryland and have a building, upkeep, or infrastructure mission already underway within the state.

One other means for an organization to be eligible, is that if they’ve a contract to start such a job in Maryland on or earlier than January 1, 2024.

Grants will probably be awarded to candidates on a first-come, first-serve foundation.
