Maryland Gov. Wes Moore delivers speech at Black History service in Baltimore
BALTIMORE – Governor Wes Moore spent a part of his Sunday attending a Black Historical past Church service at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Baltimore.
Governor Moore is the first Black man in historical past to guide the state as chief government.
In his remarks Sunday, the governor stated he has made reliance on religion a cornerstone in his administration.
“I wish to be very clear, I perceive the distinction between church and state, and I perceive all of the authorized implications, however I wish to be clear that I’m a toddler of God,” Moore stated.
The governor stated in his sermon his administration will replicate Maryland’s variety.
