U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin (each D-Md.) and Mark Warner and Tim Kaine (each D-Va.) issued the next joint assertion in response to the announcement that the Washington Metropolitan Space Transit Authority (Metro) Board of Administrators has chosen Randy Clarke as its new Normal Supervisor and CEO. Clarke at the moment serves as President and CEO of Capital Metro in Austin, Texas. 

“Secure and dependable Metrobus and Metrorail service is crucial for our constituents within the Nationwide Capital Area, for thousands and thousands of tourists annually and for the staff who make the federal authorities operate each day. For that reason, we’re inspired that the WMATA Board of Administrators has chosen a brand new Normal Supervisor and CEO who brings expertise in security oversight.
