Man Dies In Officer-Involved Shooting In Baltimore County: AG
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — State prosecutors are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Baltimore County on Friday night that left a man dead.
According to Attorney General Anthony Brown, the shooting happened in the 2700 block of Maple Avenue in Parkville shortly after 11:30 p.m. after Baltimore County officers were called to a home for a report of a domestic disturbance.
When officers arrived, prosecutors said they heard gunshots inside the home followed by the sound of a woman screaming. As officers approached the home, prosecutors said a man opened the front door and fired a gun at them.

Three officers fired their weapons in the shooting, Brown said.
The man who fired at police was pronounced dead at the scene, according to prosecutors. A woman was also found dead inside the home, authorities said.

The names of the woman, the shooter and the involved officers were not released. The attorney general’s office generally releases the names within two days of the incident.
State prosecutors are reviewing the shooting, including body-worn camera footage provided by the involved officers. The footage will be released within 20 days, prosecutors said.
