A powerful nor’easter is dumping New York City and much of the Northeast with heavy snow, coastal flooding and blizzard conditions.
Maryland continues to see snow accumulation this winter, with the latest storm pummeling parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Monday, Feb. 23. The storm brought blizzard-like conditions that blanketed major cities in snow, halted travel, closed schools and caused mass power outages.
The storm brought a number of cancellations in the Tri-State area, including Hagerstown.
Over 40 million people were under blizzard warnings from Maryland to Maine as the storm dumped 2 to 3 inches of snow per hour and brought winds of up to 70 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
