Casey Anderson was first reprimanded by the county council for having a liquor cupboard in his workplace at Montgomery County Planning’s headquarters in Wheaton. A short time later, a confidential electronic mail surfaced final fall, accusing Casey of inappropriate language and conduct.

However Montgomery County Council President Evan Glass stated that an investigation, by the fee, which included an out of doors counsel, has discovered that the allegations are unfounded.

Glass shared a portion of the fee’s investigation findings:

There was no proof of management making a hostile, poisonous or misogynistic work atmosphere at Montgomery Parks, Montgomery Planning or the Montgomery County Planning Board.”

Glass stated the investigation additionally discovered that “management points on the Montgomery Planning Board, on the time, impaired workers’ sense of organizational stability.”

The investigation’s remaining report recommends extra coaching for workers and commissioners and growing insurance policies that extra clearly delineate expectations for planning board members.

Glass stated that the council is concentrated on making two appointments to the planning board in June.
