3 Teens Charged As Adults For Gunfire Exchange Outside School: Police

LAUREL, MD — Three teens have been charged in connection to an exchange of gunfire that happened near Laurel High School Nov. 30.

Laurel police detectives have charged the teens as adults including attempted murder, reckless endangerment and various firearms-related crimes. All three are students at Laurel High School, according to the Laurel Police Department.

The shootings happened between two groups of teens near the high school around 2:43 p.m. Nov. 30 in the area of the 14900 block of Belle Ami Drive. Witnesses told police they were exchanging gunfire, according to the police department. No one was injured and no one showed up to any nearby medical facilities in connection to this shooting.
