1 Dead, 2 Injured In Labor Day Shooting In Silver Spring: Reports
SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police took a suspect into custody in Monday night’s fatal shooting of a woman in Silver Spring.
Police responded shortly after 7:30 p.m., to the 14200 block of Punch St. for the report of a shooting, according to WUSA9. Arriving officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, another man was injured, and a woman was found dead in a nearby home.
Police arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting, saying that the victims knew the suspect before the incident, WUSA9 reported. The shooting is being investigated as a domestic-related incident.
