BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – As we move closer to 2025, an important topic to review and analyze is crime.

Crime in the United States and funneled down to state and local levels, is important to everyone. There are a few helpful links that collect the data points for the public.

The FBI Crime Data Explorer contains national and state crime data reports, showing the totals for various crimes, as well as demographics and age groups.

There are a few helpful links that collect the data points for the public.

Local police and sheriff offices also track crime data. For example, The Baton Rouge Police Department has the Crime Trend Analysis site which shows the current trends of calls and incidents reported, and shows the percent change over the six month average.
