Missing St. Francisville man last seen Friday, State Police say

Louisiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a St. Francisville man who was reported missing over the weekend.

William “Butch” Kerr, 81, was last seen on Friday at his home on Pine Street, according to a news release. He was discovered missing around 2 p.m. Sunday.

Kerr is described as a White man with gray hair and blue eyes. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds. In the release, State Police said Kerr “suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgement.”

Kerr is believed to be driving a 2019 gray Chevrolet Equinox with Louisiana license plate 716FSI and a front license plate that says “Butch” on it. State Police said he is possibly traveling to the Woodville, Mississippi area.

Anyone with information regarding Kerr’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the St. Francisville Police Department at 225-784-3136 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the St. Francisville Police Department.
