Louisiana Master Gardener course set for Tangipahoa; deadline to apply is June 17

A Louisiana Grasp Gardener coaching course is scheduled for Tangipahoa Parish from 9 a.m. till midday on Wednesdays, Aug. 10 via Nov. 16.

Class members will learn specified supplies, watch videoed lectures, and attend in-person conferences. Most lessons will likely be held on the LSU AgCenter workplace at 305 E. Oak St., Amite.

To get an utility or ask questions, contact Horticulture Agent Mary Helen Ferguson at mhferguson@agcenter.lsu.edu or (985) 277-1850. Purposes are due June 17. A price of $185 and a background test will likely be required for many who are accepted and select to enroll in this system.

Folks within the Louisiana Grasp Gardener program assist the LSU AgCenter present training about gardening and garden care. To grow to be a licensed Louisiana Grasp Gardener, people should full the coaching course, move an examination and volunteer 40 or extra hours of service with the LSU AgCenter inside the yr following completion of the course.
