A Louisiana man was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the interstate in Tuscaloosa County, State Troopers have confirmed.

Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency in West Alabama, said the victim was 67-year-old Robert A. Brown of Leesville, Louisiana.

King said Brown was driving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler on Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa County when he collided with a 2017 Freightliner tractor-trailer being driven by a Florida man.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle crash, which took place around three miles south of Fosters, King said.
