In reversal, New Orleans appeals court boots state Supreme Court candidate from race, for now

Chief Justice Calogero retired in 2008 after 36 years serving as a Justice of the Court. For 18 of those years, he served as Chief Justice. During his career, he spearheaded the restoration and return of the Louisiana Supreme Court to Royal street in the French Quarter. Chief Justice Calogero died a year ago.
