Biloxi man, one other arrested for child sex crimes in Louisiana

COVINGTON, La. (WLOX) – Two men are now in custody for crimes related to targeting children in sex, Covington Police Department announced on Friday.

William Clayton Byrd, 30, of Biloxi, was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with one felony count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

22-year-old Phillip Edward Walton of Belle Chasse, La. was also arrested on Thursday. He is charged with one felony count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and one felony count of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Both Byrd and Walton were booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center.
