Police stop armed robbery in Greenup, Kentucky

GREENUP, KY (WOWK) — The Greenup Police Division stopped a person trying to rob a gasoline station on Friday.

Greenup PD says that Brandon Lee Christian, 23, was trying to rob the ARCO Truckstop at 1024 Seaton Avenue.

They are saying that surveillance footage reveals Christian with a ski masks and a handgun inside the shop round 5:20 p.m. earlier than police intervened and arrested the suspect.

Mr. Christian is charged with tried theft within the first diploma and is at the moment being held on the Greenup County Detention Middle.
