Trees and power lines were reported down in the Lower Bottoms area near the City of Hickman on US 51.

Drivers are asked to avoid areas damaged by the storm so emergency response teams can clear the debris from roadways.

The National Weather Service office at Barkley Field recorded a 60-mph gust.

In Union County, Illinois, several trees snapped near Dongola, bringing down power lines and some roof damage.
