Kentucky pays a visit to top ten 2026 recruit Jordan Smith Jr.
The Kentucky Wildcats coaches have been on the road visiting 2026 recruits, and on Wednesday, it was guard Jordan Smith Jr. Coach Mark Pope went to see the top ten recruit, who has an offer from the Wildcats.
Smith is a 6’2″, 200 lb shooting guard out of Virginia. He is currently ranked as the number six overall recruit in the 2026 class by 247Sports, and is rated five stars. They have him as the top shooting guard in the class as well.
Pope originally offered Smith back in September. He also has offers from North Carolina, Louisville, and the Duke Blue Devils among other schools. He has visited Louisville and Duke already, and Kentucky is sure to try and get him in for a visit as well.
Kentucky has been less reliant on recruiting under Mark Pope, instead adding talented players with experience from the transfer portal. However, getting talented Freshman into Lexington is still something they want to do. Smith would be a great addition, and fans should keep an eye on this one.
