LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – On the latest edition of Kentucky Newsmakers, WKYT’s Bill Bryant talks with Lexington Vice-Mayor Dan Wu and Public Service Commission Chair Angie Hatton.

The public is being invited to give ideas and opinions about growing Lexington at a key meeting being held this coming week. As Lexington’s preservation and growth management program collects feedback and ideas. The Kentucky Public Service Commission regulates more than 1,100 utilities across the state. It oversees rate hikes or reductions and the accuracy of meters that determine what you’re charged, approves boundaries and construction projects for utilities and also hears consumer complaints and works to ensure safety.
