LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – On the latest edition of Kentucky Newsmakers, WKYT’s Bill Bryant talks with Catholic Action Center Director Ginny Ramsey and Kentucky Blood Center Vice President of External Relations Mandy Brajuha.

Ginny Ramsey is a warrior in the fight for the homeless. Most often, she’s known for running the Catholic Action Center and doing the work of helping the homeless. Now, she’s also politically involved and advocating hard in Frankfort.

The Kentucky Blood Center likes to make a point that the need they fill is entirely local. The blood collected in Kentucky stays here to meet needs and save lives in the Commonwealth. But we frequently hear about shortages and how easy it is for the fragile supply to be interrupted.
