LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – World Blood Donor Day is on Tuesday, and the Kentucky Blood Heart is urging eligible donors to present blood.

Kentucky Blood Heart stated World Blood Donor Day is well known to boost consciousness for the necessity for secure blood and blood merchandise and to thank blood donors.

The necessity for blood continues throughout the commonwealth and the US, however KBC stated donations usually decelerate through the summer time.
