The Atlanta Falcons worked out former Eastern Kentucky tight end Dakota Allen on Saturday, according to a report from Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

Allen, who went undrafted after injuring his ACL during the 2022 season, has fully recovered from his injury, per Pelissero.

Even though Allen’s 2022 campaign was cut short, he still finished with 26 catches for 353 receiving yards and three touchdowns in five games.

His best season at Eastern Kentucky came in 2021 when he finished with 34 catches for 440 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Allen would give Atlanta more depth at tight end after losing Feleipe Franks last week.
