Eastern Kentucky’s Mountain Comprehensive Care Center awarded more than $200,000

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – On Wednesday, U.S. Senate Republican Chief Mitch McConnell introduced a federal grant was awarded to the Mountain Complete Care Heart in Jap Kentucky.

The grant, from the U.S. Division of Labor, will assist low-income and homeless veterans safe employment.

“Kentucky’s veterans put their lives on the road to maintain our nation free, however many face struggles after they depart the service and return dwelling. It’s our nationwide duty to care for individuals who sacrifice a lot in our protection, so I’m honored to assist organizations just like the Mountain Complete Care Heart that assist low-income and homeless veterans safe their place within the job market. This Heart has already achieved nice work via this grant program to assist veterans in Jap Kentucky and I sit up for seeing the extra job coaching and employment providers they may be capable to present with the award introduced as we speak,” mentioned Senator McConnell.

Since 2014, greater than $790,000 has been awarded to the Heart.
