Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams said on Sunday he still expects around 40% of voters to cast a ballot in the 2023 elections.

Adams, in a post Sunday on X, said that in the three days of early voting, 260,324 Kentuckians cast no-excuse early votes. He said that is slightly higher than last year, but that absentee votes are slightly lower than in 2022. Adams said those trends lead him to believe that the overall turnout will be about 42%.

All of Kentucky’s constitutional offices will be decided following Tuesday’s voting. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. To find your polling place visit govote.ky.gov.
