Two Jackets Set to Compete at ITA All-Americans
THE FLATS – Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel are set to characterize Georgia Tech males’s tennis on the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Tech will start competitors on Monday, Oct. 3 with the singles qualifying spherical.
Within the ITA Preseason Rankings, Martin ranked at No. 20 and McDaniel ranked at No. 97. As a doubles pairing, the 2 Jackets earned a formidable rating of No. 17.
McDaniel will combat for his singles spot within the qualifying spherical on Monday. In his first match, he’ll face Rice College’s Haoyuan Huang at 11 a.m. After incomes a spot within the high 20 of the ITA preseason rankings, Martin will keep away from the qualifying spherical and start with the principle draw singles on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
The nationally ranked duo will even compete in the principle draw doubles. The 2 will begin doubles play on Wednesday and the main points of their matchup can be introduced following the conclusion of the qualifying spherical.
