COLUMBIA — After surviving a scare against Tennessee on Thursday and keeping its undefeated record intact, South Carolina women’s basketball is back home to play Georgia on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, ABC) with ESPN’s “College GameDay” in town.

The doors at Colonial Life Arena will open at 11:30 a.m. before the “College GameDay” show starts at noon.

The No. 1 Gamecocks (24-0, 11-0 SEC) got back senior center Kamilla Cardoso, their leading scorer, and she had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the 66-55 win over Tennessee. Cardoso averages 14 points and 9.8 rebounds, both team highs.

Fifth-year forward Javyn Nicholson leads Georgia (11-13, 2-9) with 15.5 points and nine rebounds. Senior forward Zoesha Smith is second on the team with 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds.

The Bulldogs hold the all-time series advantage at 33-24, but South Carolina has won 17 consecutive games against them. They last earned a victory over the Gamecocks on Jan. 13, 2013, and haven’t won in Columbia since 2012.
