Obama, celebs to join VP Harris in Georgia rally
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) – Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Georgia Friday afternoon, making a crucial stop in the battleground state as she delivers her final pitch to voters with election day just 12 days away.
Harris is set to appear in the Atlanta area alongside former President Barack Obama, marking a significant moment in her campaign efforts.
Thursday night’s event is poised to be one of Harris’s largest campaign events in Georgia. The rally, which is part of her “When We Vote, We Win” concert series, aims to energize voters in the final stretch of the election. This will be the first time Harris and Obama campaign together in Georgia.
The rally will feature a performance by Bruce Springsteen, whose music has become a staple at Democratic campaign events. Joining Harris and Obama on stage will be a host of celebrities with ties to Georgia, including filmmaker Spike Lee, actors Samuel L. Jackson and Tyler Perry and DJ Mix Master David.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd and generate significant media attention as the campaign seeks to mobilize voters.
