Men’s Tennis Falls to Miami

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech males’s tennis workforce (11-11, 2-6 ACC) concluded its weekend on the street with a 5-2 loss to convention competitor, Miami.

Miami earned an early benefit, successful two straight doubles matches and clinching the primary level.

The Jackets claimed two victories in singles play. No. 34 Andres Martin recorded his sixth-straight singles win and twelfth win over a nationally-ranked opponent. Martin took down Miami’s No. 50 Dan Martin in a 6-3, 6-4 resolution.

Tech’s second singles victory got here from No. 60 Marcus McDaniel. McDaniel’s match with Miami’s Antonio Prat was an in depth battle that went to 3 units. He cut up the primary two units with Prat 7-6 [7-4], 6-7 [3-7] however McDaniel was finally victorious with a 10-5 win within the third.
