North Carolina has dropped three straight games since getting off to a 3-0 start, including back-to-back ACC setbacks to Duke (21-20) and Pittsburgh (34-24), in addition to their wild 70-50 loss to James Madison in Week 3. The Tar Heels have struggled defensively against the pass, ranking No. 112 nationally in that department, but they do bring a balanced and potent offense into this one behind star running back Omarion Hampton (764 yards, 7 TDs).

Georgia Tech picked up a big win last weekend, prevailing over previously unbeaten Duke, 24-14, to even its ACC record to 2-2. Half the teams the Yellow Jackets have played this season were nationally ranked at the time, and so are three of their final six opponents.
