Georgia woman killed in early morning head-on crash

MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Georgia woman is dead after a crash on Interstate 85 in Macon County, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency states.

Just after 3 a.m. Sunday, two cars collided head-on on I-85 near mile marker 37. Angela L. Wilson, 45, of Columbus, Georgia, was killed in the collision. The driver of the car she was in, Adrien T. Wilson, 44, was also injured and transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.

The driver of the other car, Rony G. Miranda, 40, of Opelika, was injured and transported to East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika for treatment.

No further information is available at this time. ALEA Troopers are currently investigating.
