$4 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Georgia
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – One lottery player won big in Georgia during Friday’s Mega Millions drawing.
The winning ticket was $1 million — but with the 4X Megaplier, the amount came out to $4 million! Another person also lucked out with the Megaplier, winning $40,000 instead of $10,000.
The winning numbers were 19, 23, 39, 42 and 67 with a Mega Ball 18.
The estimated jackpot for next Tuesday’s drawing is now $493 million, with a cash option of $214.2 million.
The last jackpot win was on Dec. 8 in California. Two tickets, both sold at the same Chevron in Los Angeles, shared the $394 million prize (or $188.6 million in cash).
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
