Passenger jumps from Carnival Cruise ship headed for Florida
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A person jumped off a Carnival cruise ship headed for Port Canaveral Saturday, in line with the cruise line.
Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the incident to eight On Your Aspect by means of a press release, saying that an grownup male visitor jumped from the Carnival Mardi Gras early Saturday morning.
The ship was making its return to Port Canaveral on the time of the incident.
Carnival mentioned that the U.S. Coast Guard has been notified and is looking for the person. The crew helped the Coast Guard search till the ship was launched.
