Florida High advances to flag football district championship with shut out win over Wakulla
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida High flag football shut out Wakulla 40-0 to advance to the district title game on Thursday.
The Seminoles 7th grader, Annelise Cardenas, came up with a pick six in the third quarter to make the score 40-0. She also had a receiving touchdown in the game.
Kiersten Cawley led the Seminoles with two receiving touchdowns in the game.
Florida High will compete for their first district championship when they host Lincoln at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
