SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. – A fire erupted Wednesday afternoon at a multi-million dollar home in Southwest Ranches belonging to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, WPLG-TV reported.

The TV station’s helicopter was above the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m. as firefighters were spotted on the roof of the mansion and smoke was billowing from a side of the house.

Records show the home was purchased for $6.9 million in the summer of 2022.

A representative for the Miami Dolphins confirmed to WPLG-TV that Hill’s family was able to get out safely. Hill left practice to be with his family once he received word about the fire.
