At least 2 dead after homemade helicopter crashed in Florida, officials say

A helicopter that authorities mentioned seemed to be selfmade crashed in Florida on Saturday, killing no less than two individuals who had been onboard.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned the helicopter landed between two buildings on a non-public property in Clay County round 10 a.m. Once they arrived on the scene, officers discovered the helicopter engulfed in flames and badly broken.

No less than two individuals who had been within the helicopter died, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned. The victims weren’t recognized.

The flames have since been extinguished.

It isn’t clear the place the helicopter originated from, and an investigation led by Florida Freeway Patrol is ongoing.

Clay County is situated practically 60 miles southwest of Jacksonville.
