Alabama basketball will look to score a victory over Florida in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.
The Crimson Tide (21-10) hasn’t played since this past Saturday because it is the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and had a double bye. Alabama coach Nate Oats aims to secure his third SEC Tournament title this season after winning it twice in his previous four seasons; the Crimson Tide won it a season ago in addition to the SEC regular-season title.
Alabama will have to get past a No. 6 seed Florida team first that is fresh off a close win over No. 11 seed Georgia on Thursday night. The Crimson Tide and Gators (22-10) played twice in the regular season, each winning at their respective home courts.
