Women’s Tennis Falls to Delaware, 6-1 – Drexel University Athletics

NEWARK, Del. –  The Drexel ladies’s tennis crew fell to conference-rival Delaware in a match on Friday afternoon at Newark, Del., 6-1.
 
The Dragons acquired a win within the top-flight by Lorie Lemongo. The freshman defeated her opponent, 6-3, 6-4. Within the fifth-seeded match, Aida Garcia Mendez received the second set, 6-2, however couldn’t overcome her opponent within the third set. Mya Fuentes competed within the fifth-seeded match and took the second set however dropped the third.
 
The Dragons return residence on Saturday, April 16 to face Hofstra. The Dragons can even be honoring their two seniors, Pauline Kharkover and Tara Veluvolu, previous to the beginning of the match. First serve is tabbed for 1 p.m.
