Wind-driven fire damages 5 homes in Odessa, Delaware
Three of the properties had been destroyed and two others endured important harm.
ODESSA, Delaware (WPVI) — 5 properties had been broken early Saturday morning on account of a wind-driven fireplace in Odessa, Delaware.
It occurred round 4 a.m. on the unit block of Corbit Drive.
When firefighters arrived, the blaze had already engulfed one residence. Robust winds are blamed for spreading the hearth to neighboring properties.
Three of them had been destroyed and two others endured important harm.
It took about three hours to convey the hearth beneath management.
The harm is estimated to be round 1,000,000 {dollars}.
No accidents had been reported however 16 folks have been displaced.
