Tornado, heavy rains lash Delaware

Waves of heavy rains preceded a tornado that was spotted near Kirkwood Highway moving north Thursday, August 8, 2024, where it damaged the Kirkwood Plaza shopping center before moving through the Sherwood Park neighborhood. No injuries were reported.
