PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A toll increase is now in effect for drivers crossing the Delaware River.

The toll for the Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Commodore Barry and Walt Whitman bridges is going from $5 to $6.

“I think it’s crazy, it’s ridiculous we’re already paying so much already in taxes as it is,” said Lauren Cozzi, of South Philadelphia.

“I’m really upset right now,” said Adnan Malik, of Pennsauken, NJ.
