Teen charged after gunshot fired inside William Penn High School restroom

The teenager is going through felony reckless endangerment and weapons costs. He is being held on $98,000 money bond.

NEW CASTLE, Delaware (WPVI) — A 16-year-old has been arrested after a shot was fired final week inside William Penn Excessive College in New Citadel, Delaware.

It occurred round 11:40 a.m. Tuesday at William Penn Excessive College on the 700 block of East Basin Highway.

In line with police, a faculty useful resource officer was alerted to a gunshot inside a second-floor restroom.

The constructing was positioned on lockdown for about an hour whereas investigators searched the constructing. The varsity was then closed for the remained of the week.

Investigators canvassing the world found a Glock handgun exterior the college.

The teenager is going through felony reckless endangerment and weapons costs. He is being held on $98,000 money bond.
