Seal pup spotted along busy beach in Delaware
MERR issued a press release that reads partly:
“We’re monitoring this seal on Dewey Seaside. It’s a grey seal pup at post-weanling stage. That is after they have lately been weaned by their mothers and are attempting to discover ways to survive on their very own.
It’s also molting (shedding fur) somewhat bit, and they should keep out of the water throughout this course of.
