Marine animal washed up near Pigeon Point, Delaware Memorial Bridge. What we know

An unidentified marine animal is washed up on the Delaware River near Pigeon Point, just north of Delaware Memorial Bridge.

Ritter Dragonfly Dronography’s Dale Ritter captured images of the animal Sunday morning around 9 a.m. It can be seen clearly from the bridge, he said.

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control did not immediately respond to requests for information, nor did the Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute.
