NEWARK, New Jersey (WPVI) — A Delaware County man is dealing with expenses for bringing a loaded gun to the airport.
The TSA says he was making an attempt to deliver it inside his carry-on Thanksgiving morning.
The incident occurred at Newark Liberty Worldwide Airport.
This 12 months, the TSA is seeing an alarming rise in weapons delivered to its checkpoints.
To date, virtually 6,000 weapons have been confiscated this 12 months.
Most of them have been loaded.
