3 firefighters hurt after fire engine collides with tractor-trailer in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Delaware (WPVI) — A crash involving a hearth truck and a tractor-trailer injured three firefighters on Thursday night time in New Fort County, Delaware.

It occurred round 7 p.m. on eastbound I-295 at Landers Lane.

Officers say a Minquadale Hearth Firm truck was responding to an accident when the truck was hit by a tractor-trailer.

The fireplace truck driver misplaced management, hit a guard rail after which overturned. A number of firefighters had been briefly trapped earlier than they had been extricated.
