It’s a boy! Dallas Zoo announces birth of baby elephant
DALLAS (CBSNewsTexas.com) – It is a boy! The Dallas Zoo is celebrating the birth of a wholesome, 290-pound elephant calf.
Mlilo, an African elephant, delivered her second calf on Feb. 26 after 2 a.m. The calf weighed way more than Mlilo’s first-born, Ajabu, who got here in at about 175 kilos at beginning.
The zoo says the newborn is filled with spunk and beginning to get extra curious.
Mlilo and her child will stay behind the scenes for the following a number of weeks.
The zoo says they plan to announce the calf’s identify subsequent week.
