Dallas Trinity FC looked to continue its positive momentum after a USL Super League semifinal appearance last season and an opening match win over Spokane Zephyr FC.

Trinity did just that with another win at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday over Brooklyn FC.

A Maya McCutcheon goal in the 13th minute proved the difference in Trinity’s 1-0 win. McCutcheon, a defender and Texas native, scored on a corner kick and midfielder Wayny Balata was credited with the assist.
